Blinkshot Terms of Sale
These terms cover buying and using Blinkshot. They’re meant to be read, so they’re short. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean OnBoardConnect.
What you’re buying
A licence to use Blinkshot, a Mac app that helps you decide what to do with screenshots as you take them. One payment of $12 US buys a licence for you, on every Mac you own. There’s no subscription and nothing renews.
You can use Blinkshot free for 14 days before deciding. After that the popup stops appearing until you enter a licence key. Everything else keeps working: your Inbox stays, and screenshots you marked Temporary still move to the Trash on time.
Your licence
The licence is personal to you and isn’t transferable. Use it on the Macs you own, as many as you like. Don’t share your key, publish it, or sell it on.
Blinkshot checks your key on your Mac and doesn’t send it anywhere, which means the honest use of it is left to you. That’s deliberate: it also means your copy keeps working offline, and if this website ever disappears.
You may not take Blinkshot apart, change it, or try to work around the licence check. You may not pass it off as your own.
Who you’re buying from
Blinkshot is made and published by OnBoardConnect. The app is code signed by Jason Hallett, who owns OnBoardConnect, so that is the name macOS shows when it checks the download. Payment is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who are the merchant of record for your purchase: they take the payment, handle the tax, and appear on your statement. Paddle’s own terms apply to the payment itself.
Refunds
14 days, no questions asked. See the refund policy.
Updates
Blinkshot checks this website for new versions and asks before it installs anything. Updates are included in what you paid: there’s no upgrade fee, and your key keeps working. Nothing here promises a particular update, or that any specific feature will arrive.
What isn’t promised
Blinkshot is sold as it is. It’s careful about your files: it moves screenshots to the Trash rather than deleting them unless you turn that off yourself, and it never touches a file outside the folder you chose. Even so, no software is perfect, and nothing here is a guarantee that it will suit your purpose or run without fault.
Keep your own backups. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about Blinkshot is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that can’t be signed away.
Ending the licence
You can stop using Blinkshot at any time, and remove the licence from a Mac in Settings. We’d only end a licence if it were being shared publicly or used to work around payment, and we’d email you first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If you’re a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country’s law.
